The release of Smokey The Groove’s 3rd album is here! Come out to celebrate a night of funky soul music joined by incredible Liquid Lights from Mad Alchemy. Hosted in the beautiful El Rey Theater, we will fully elevate Chico to new heights!
Smokey The Groove is California’s Rage Funk Experience. They have created a dancing journey that has been showing up all over the Pacific North West. Filled with a full horn section, jazzy guitar, heavy bass, and emotionally powerful drumming!
The Gold Souls are bringing the driving grooves of funk, the rich textures of soul, and the compelling storytelling of the blues to the Northern California scene and beyond. Drawing from a wide range of influences and experiences, they deliver captivating lyrics and fresh arrangements over a vintage sound.
Lorna Such of the popular local Chico band 'Lo And Behold' draws influences from vocalists such as Amy Winehouse, Billie Holiday, and Frank Sinatra.
